Star Forest is made by Meridian Game Lab. By making an account or playing, you agree to these terms. They're short, and meant to be read.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. What's done on your account is on you.
Character and account names mustn't pretend to be someone else, or be hateful or crude. We may rename one that is.
You need to be 13 or older to play.

Playing fair

No cheating: no programs that play for you, change the game or read what it doesn't show you.
If you find a bug that gives you an edge, report it rather than use it. Reporting it won't get you in trouble.
No harassment, hate, threats or spam, in chat, on the forums or anywhere else in the game.
No selling accounts, characters, gold or items for real money.

A game still being made

Star Forest is changing all the time. Things will be added, changed and taken away. Realms may go down, and while the game is early we may have to reset characters, items or gold. We'll say so in the patch notes when we do.

Gold and items

Gold, items, plots and everything else in the game belong to the game. They have no value in real money, and they can't be exchanged for it.

What you write

What you write in chat and on the forums stays yours. You let us show it in the game and on the site, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms.

If the terms are broken

We may warn, mute, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, depending on how serious it is. You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account (see privacy).

The fine print

The game is free and given as it is, without promises that it will always work or always be there. As far as the law allows, Meridian Game Lab isn't responsible for losses that come from playing it, or from not being able to.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and anything that matters will be in the game's patch notes. Playing after a change means you accept it.
